Someone on wikipedia put it plainly.

"[Indoctrination] is often distinguished from education by the fact that the indoctrinated person is expected not to question or critically examine the doctrine they have learned."

"Instruction in the basic principles of science, in particular, can not properly be called indoctrination, in the sense that the fundamental principals of science call for critical self-evaluation and skeptical scrutiny of one's own ideas."

I loved the calm and humorous storyline of this 'Melanie'. It undercuts ludicrous belief, yet is intelligent and uplifting. It gives us hope that there are perhaps many people who have higher beliefs than dogma and catechism, that there are enlightened spirits who can embrace the hand of ethics and right without devolving into a ritualistic superstition. I love that this Melanie has God's voice in her ear. Nice touch, deflecting criticism that such thoughts of love for an atheist and disgust at hypocritical evangelists could be real.

I just watched Ben Stein's supposed support of intelligent design (Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed) and Dawkin's name and book debunking God were named. I did a search and ended up on this site.

The Stein film left me with a respect for the fact that, if we did relieve ourselves of religion and its inspiration of fear, there could be dire consequences for humankind. He uses the holocaust as an example of a mad Darwinistic approach to humans trying to improve the race, as if this were a natural process. Of course, that is the difference -- it was directed by a group of mad individuals, not a process of natural selection.

If this book gets enough attention amongst the Christian community (which I dare say it is), then 'relusion' will catch on. Hopefully when this book is reprinted in the future Dawkins will consider changing the title to 'The God Relusion'. It would be more accurate considering the general topic of the book.

The Pope goes to Heaven. God likes Pope Benedict XVI. In the year 2006, Sunday, April 16 was Easter Day. Pope Benedict XVI, celebrated his birthday on this date. The Pope is born on the day of the Resurrection. (That means he goes to Heaven). Now the year 2006 might not be a memorable year for most of you but that is a dream date for me. Easter is the day that we celebrate the resurrection of Christ.

What does this mean? Even though some of the things that you believe are true, which are not, does not keep you out of Heaven. You don't have to be 100% correct. You can get an F on a bible quiz and still go to Heaven. Even though the Pope tells un-thruths, it does not keep him out of Heaven. God loves this Pope. Being in the wrong church, any other church, or not going to any Church at all, does not keep you out of Heaven.

God hopes this clears things up. This is Gods message not mine. Melanie

So far God told me a number of contradictions to what is written in the Bible.

1) Just believing in Jesus doesn't necessarily give you the go card to Heaven.
2) Being an atheist does not keep you out of Heaven.
3) Asking God to forgive you on your death bed doesn't grant you forgiveness.

4) God also said that Jesus had human parents just like everyone else. God did not come over Mary. He would not do something like that.
5) Jesus was not crucified in Jerusalem. He was taken to Rome with other prisoners. He died at a Roman Summer Event.
6) Jesus did not get his old body back. People did not see him walking around in his old dead body.
7) Jesus' body was throw over the Tarpeian Rock after the Roman event. It was discarded with the rest of the trash after the event. That means that after you die your body is discarded. (The Romans had a lot of bodies to get rid of after their events.)
8) God takes Jesus before he dies back to his Fathers House for a beautiful new body. That means you get a new body, your old body is trash.
9) Note: There is more, but I don't want to fill up this blog before I get to the next point.

Hello Michael,
I have a few more examples for you. Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin, and Nancy Reagan. Mike Douglas is linked to the message about First is Last and Last is First. Mike Douglas dies on his Birthday. Mike goes to Heaven (Birth is Last). The next is Merv Griffen, he dies the day after Mike. Merv lived 1 year, 1 month and 1 day longer than Mike. Merv and Nancy go to Heaven. Nancy and Merv were life long friends, at Merv's eulogy Nancy says they shared many things in common, they even have the same birthday. Now I found that very interesting but didn't know if it had any meaning. That night I have a waking dream from God in 2007. He says:
We each die succession, then we are born on the same day.
What this means to me is that money is not a factor. Nancy is still alive and her name is in the book of those going to Heaven. Also note that Mike Douglas and Michael Douglas are different people. Mike and Merv had identical lives, they had many things incommon.

One more example is Leona Helmsley. God sends her to Hell. Now Leona was a mean witch for a good part of her life, right up to the day she died. God gave her everything, good looks, money, opportunities, and even more money. Things most of us will never have. She saw herself a Queen in her Hotel and would fire people for very small things. Before she fired people she would berate them. There are hundreds of stories. When Leona realized that she was dying she asked God to forgive her. So she knew about God. God said it was the 11th hour, it was to late to say your sorry. God sent Leona to Hell. Leona right now is alone and in the dark. She thought she was better than everyone else, so she is all by herself.

What this means to me, is that waiting until the last minute to say your sorry, and asking God to forgive you does not work.
This also means that God will forgive you, God is forgiving. You need to change your ways before it is to late though.
It says in the Bible that God is forgiving, so parts of the bible are correct.

Now Richard Dawkins made some good points in his book. As a scienctist he should have taken one more avenue. He could have concluded that maybe parts of the bible are the word of man and not the word of God. He would have been closer to the truth.
Now God also told me that Richard Dawkins goes to heaven. He says that he is an embarrassment, but God is fond of him. He thinks of him as a pet. What this means to me is that God is also saying you don't have to believe in God or Jesus to get into heaven. Athiests can go to Heaven.
God also had something to say about Jerry Falwell, well known TV evangelist. God said that Jerry does not go to Heaven. He doesn't go to Hell either. Jerry falls into a third catagory of people he doesn't want in Heaven, and he doesn't want to punish him either. Jerry just disappears, vanishes. What this means to me is that just believing in Jesus does not get you into Heaven. It takes more than that.
